HeartSaver (AED) Courses are held each Thursday at the Institute from 9am-12pm. 4 hrs – This is a two year certificate course from the American Heart Association where you will learn CPR and Automated External Defibrillation use. The course includes the basic principles of airway, breathing and circulation management for the unresponsive adult, child and infant. The course offers instruction for relieving an obstructed airway (choking) and the early warning signs of heart attack and stroke. The course is approved by the County of Riverside and the State of California. Approved for workplace preparedness by OSHA and CALOSHA.
