Volunteers Volunteers provide important services to the Institute. Among the general support that they provide for the furtherance of our programs, they serve as welcoming guests at the receptionist desk, as assistants in the library, in the administrative offices, and are docents to guide visitors. As member of the Friends of Critical Care, our volunteers hold public and special events especially for fund raising. Among our most valued volunteers are retired physicians, engineers, electronic and mechanical technicians and computer scientists who participate actively in the research and development programs of the Institute. We also value the volunteer services of physicians, RN's, PA's, paramedics, chiropractors and other health providers to serve as instructors and assistants in our Resuscitation Training Center and in the Community-wide CPR/AED programs. Their services are invaluable for teaching in schools, in country clubs and in public sites. The Institute organizes orientation sessions for our volunteers. We invite candidates to either telephone Ms. Cheri Holsclaw at (760) 778-4911 or write to her, the Executive Secretary of the Institute at 35100 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270.
